The Primitives are probably best known for their single Crash off (featured) of their 1988 album Lovely. Here’s Thru the Flowers (plus an interview).

The Primitives have reformed and will be playing at the Bell House in Brooklyn NY on May 8th with Frankie & the Outs.

I’m going to NYC!

My special someone, Mike, moved to Brooklyn last Monday, and this coming weekend I’m going to visit him. Not only is it his birthday on the 6th, but coming up is our anniversary. So this week I’m going to do a show around NYC, artists that NYC has embraced, me missing Mike, and maybe a tune about the fact that independence day is coming up.
