Puppies = Happy

December 30, 2010

I got in a lunch conversation the other day about what makes one happy, and the first and really “only” thing that popped into my head without thinking to much was my puppies. When I look at them I just smile or if I’m having a bad day at work I just think of Tweedy gnawing on Mike’s boxers and I start giggling to myself.

It still sort of gets to me that the puppies were the main thing that came to mind. Does this mean I’m a crazy dog owner? I guess the moral of the post is if you are down in the dumps and need a pick me up, go get a fuzzy little friend to poop on your floor and eat all your food. It really is pretty nice.

Here’s a clip of one of my favorite Wilco tracks off of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot in honor of our new pooch Tweedy (I’ve included a couple of pixs). We named him after the lead singer Jeff.
