1. The Jesus Lizard, Goat, Lady Shoes (Came off of Touch and Go in 1991)

2. Built to Spill, There’s Nothing Wrong with Love, Twin Falls (I’ve always loved this short song, the sincerity in it. Came out in 1994)
3. Dinosaur Jr., Green Mind, I Live for that Look, (This is an album that should be listened to in one sitting, and in my mind is considered a modern classic. Came out in 91′.)
4. Fugazi’s Repeater and 3 songs, the track will maybe be Turnover (90′)
5. Swervedriver, Mezcal Head, Duel (93′)
6. Sonic Youth, Goo, Disappearer (This cover is featured in the previous post and is possibly my favorite from Sonic Youth. The tracks behind the cover are great too. It came out in 90′.)
7. Sleater-Kinney, Sleater-Kinney, The Day I went Away (This album needs to be listened to more, its great. Its one of the better debuts that have been put out, its more than just a messy punk album. It rocks as only Sleater-Kinney can rock. 95′.)
8. Luscious Jackson, In Search of Manny, Daughters of the Kaos (This band always makes me want to do naughty things. When I think of the 90s I think hot Luscious Jackson making that sweet track Naked Eye. However, the album In Search of Manny came out around 93′. Naked Eye wasn’t until 96ish and was released on Fever in Fever Out.)
Here’s Naked Eye:

9. Sebadoh, Smash your head on the Punk Rock, Pink Moon (What would the 90’s be without Lou Barlow? And, he went ahead and made a sweet version of Nick Drake’s Pink Moon).
10. The Flaming Lips, Hit to Death in the Future Head, The Sun (This track is so poppy I just love it. 92′ was a good year for the lips, they started to find their sound.)
11. Elliot Smith, Roman Candle, Last Call (This album is raw and beautiful, and it is a staple in my CD collection. Thank you Elliot, 1994).
12. Pixies, Planet of Sound, Planet of Sound
13. Teenage Fanclub, Bandwagonesque, Star Sign (I’d be happy with this 91 release on repeat, its poppy but in a good almost rocking sort of way.)
14. The Amps, Pacer, Breaking the Split Screen Barrier
15. Jesus and Mary Chain, Honey’s Dead, Good For My Soul (In 92′ the Jesus and Mary Chain titled their 4th album Honey’s Dead as a statement that they had a new sound different from their earlier hits, specifically “Just like Honey”. I like this album, but damn do I love “Just Like Honey”.)
