I’m Sticking with You

October 11, 2010

Some stuff I’m thinking about playing come November 6th!

1. Devendra Banhart- Baby
I really like this song, It makes me just want to skip around town.

2. Velvet Underground-I’m Sticking with You
This video is pretty adorable… (I’m thinking of using this for our dance.)

3. Yes Yes its from Juno’s Soundtrack. It’s by Barry Louis Polisar and its called All I want is you.
(This one is also up for Mike and I’s first dance.)

4. Here’s another Juno track, but I love the peaches and the sappy tune entitled Anyone Else But You.

5. Edward Sharp & the Magnetic Zeros- Home
I hear this all the time now since I moved to Worcester. They love this track out here, and well I guess I now love it too since it’s the second time I’ve posted it.

I’ll leave you with a pouch shot.

Shadows

June 29, 2010

Teenage Fanclub has a new album! It was released May 31st, off of one of my all time favorite labels Merge records. It’s called Shadows.

Here’s a quote from Reid Davis from paste magazine:

Long-running Scots deliver more pop purity.
Even after two decades as a band, it has to be intimidating when Teenage Fanclub’s Norman Blake brings in another hook-laden pop masterpiece, and then Gerard Love or Raymond McGinley have to offer something that matches up.

I’ll leave you with one of their new tracks, Baby Lee.

Twin Falls
